OUR GOAL AS AN ORGANIZATION

 

The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and The Florida State University College of Engineering student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Florida Engineering Society, FAMU-FSU ASCE | FES, strives to reach new goals each school year. Our student chapter has grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years; we participate in ASCE and FES professionally and socially, attend our local parent chapter meetings and are actively involved in community service events. Our bi-weekly meetings feature professional speakers, resume workshops and community service opportunities. To date FAMU-FSU ASCE/FES holds an esteemed name on campus and continues to grow by welcoming new students. On the horizon for ASCE’s future are new goals centered on an undertaking that we anticipate meeting head on, including new community service options, expanding STEM to the youth of Big Bend, and closing the gap between the high school, collegiate, and professional levels.
