2016 SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL
ASCE CONFERENCE
This semester, we are hoping to send 75 of our members to the ASCE Southeastern Student Conference in Tuscaloosa, AL in mid-March (exact dates are TBD). This conference is a gathering of students from all ASCE student chapters across the Southeast. It addition to providing invaluable networking opportunities, it serves as a competition arena. Schools participating in the conference compete in various aspects of Civil Engineering including but not limited to: surveying, steel bridge construction, concrete canoe racing, and technical writing. These, along with other competitions, serve as a metric for seeing how the students in our program can tackle real-world engineering problems, while having fun at the same time. These competitions are judged by local licensed engineers, who then provide feedback on how to better sharpen the skills tested in battle. Our chapter consistently is among the top overall finishers at the conference; however we have the goal to take first overall, allowing us to compete at the national level in the competitions we are able to.

PLATINUM DONOR
The Platinum donor is the most prestigious donor level. Not only will the sponsor’s name and logo will be prominently represented during the 2016 ASCE Student Conference, the sponsor will receive a commemorative plaque from FAMU-FSU ASCE/FES. The Platinum donor will also receive advertisement for each of our events and special gifts throughout the year.
GOLD DONOR
The Gold Donor stands as a prominent member of our organization. The Gold Donor will have their logo displayed, under the Platinum Donors, at each of our events and will receive a commemorative gift and a t-shirt for being an integral part of our club.
SILVER DONOR
Help FAMU-FSU ASCE/FES compete in the smaller events of the Southeastern Student Conference. Sponsor’s logo will be displayed on the Conference T-shirt. The small events vary from year to year and include competitions in plans reading, geotechnical engineering, surveying, transportation, environmental engineering, and professional reports.
BRONZE DONOR
The Bronze Donor will help our organization with our community service needs and preparing for conference. The Bronze donor name will be features on our banner as well receive a T-shirt for their donation.
